Knit fine, so it follows you instead of standing away, with a deep rib at the hem that holds the line all the way down. Other cashmere goes so thin it disappears on you; this one has enough body to hold its shape. At the front, a clean self-fabric band. Nothing to fasten. Nothing to think about.

It folds flat and takes up almost no room, so it ends up in the carry-on by default — then comes to the desk, and to the dinner you didn't plan for. Light enough for a cool July evening. Warm enough for January.
